Affordable Unit Transfer

1.Completing the Affordable Unit Transfer filter and clicking Submit displays the Affordable Unit Transfer screen. The screen consist of four tabs: Options, Custom Data ItemsRentable Items, and Review & Post. Clicking each tab and clicking Next advances you through the workflow. Clicking Previous displays the preceding tab.
2.The Options tab is the first step in setting up an apartment transfer.
Current Lease Information displays the transfer reason, transfer date, and selected information to transfer with the household.
New Lease Information displays the household’s selected new apartment, transfer date, and lease term for the new apartment
The grid on the Custom Data tab displays custom buttons set up by your management organization. These custom buttons appear as links on the Data menu of the household’s Resident screen.
The following graphic shows the Custom Data tab on the Affordable Unit Transfer screen.
4.The Data Link Name column shows names of the links as they appear on the Data menu. The Data Table Name column displays Voyager data table names associated with the buttons.
The Rentable Items tab is the third step in the affordable housing apartment transfer process. It consists of two sections.
Existing Rentable Items displays a grid containing rentable items that the household is renting with the current apartment. All items are initially selected. Clearing the Transfer check box for an existing item removes the item for the household as a resident in the new apartment.
Add Rentable Items displays a grid containing rentable items available in the property. Selecting the Add check box for an available item adds the item for the household as a resident in the new apartment.
The following graphic shows the Rentable Items tab on the Affordable Unit Transfer screen. This household wants to rent a storage space in the new apartment.
The Review & Post tab is the fourth tab in the affordable housing apartment transfer process. It allows you to complete three procedures for an in-process apartment transfer:
Unscheduled Apartment Transfers
The following graphics show the Review & Post tab on the Affordable Housing Unit Transfer screen for an unscheduled transfer. A message confirms that the transfer is unscheduled. Informational messages appear in the bottom part of the screen describing the changes that occur when you schedule the transfer.
6.Two buttons appear: Schedule Transfer and Cancel Transfer.
Clicking Schedule Transfer schedules the apartment transfer.
Clicking the Cancel Transfer button cancels the unscheduled transfer. Canceling an unscheduled transfer deletes the transfer and all previously saved transfer setup information.
Scheduled Apartment Transfers
The following graphics show the Review & Post tab on the Affordable Housing Unit Transfer screen for scheduled transfers. A message appears confirming that the transfer is scheduled. Informational messages appear in the bottom part of the screen describing the changes that will occur when you complete the scheduled transfer.

Tabs no longer appear in the bottom part of the screen. Informational messages describe the changes that occurred when you completed the transfer. See attachment for visual aid
