Reviewing TRACS Error Messages

The In Box tab on the TRACS File Viewer presents messages received from TRACS in a format that is easy to review. You can review a description of an error, the error severity, and the agency-suggested action for correcting the error.

From the Affordable Housing side menu, select TRACS > TRACS File Viewer. The TRACS File Viewer appears. The In Box tab is visible.

In the Property field in the top part of the screen, select the subject property. The list of messages for that property appears in the In Box tab.
The Error Tree section on the left shows the project name, contract, units, and households involved in the TRACS error. One or more TRACS error codes appear below each resident’s name.
In the bottom part of the screen on the right, two filters appear: Error Status Filter and Error Severity Filter. You can use these filters to select the type of error messages that you want to review.

When you are finished reviewing your messages, click Home on the top menu. The TRACS File Viewer closes.
